Hobbywing XeRun XR8 Pro G3 200A - Black

The Hobbywing XeRun XR8 Pro G3 is an uncompromising high-end brushless speed controller for professional 1:8 racing applications . Compared to its predecessor, the housing has been further optimized: 1.3 mm shorter, 5.3 mm narrower , and with an overall footprint of approximately 15% smaller – ideal for tight chassis layouts.

With a continuous current rating of 200 A and an extreme peak current of 1080 A , the XR8 Pro G3 delivers brutal performance while maintaining excellent low-speed linearity . The combination of modern hardware design and Smart Freewheeling technology ensures significantly higher efficiency and lower temperatures. Compared to the XR8 Pro G2, the maximum operating temperature has been reduced by approximately 15 °C .

The newly developed frameless fan is made of a special, impact-resistant material and is significantly less susceptible to dust, sand, and small stones. Thanks to intelligent fan control, the fan only starts when needed – this reduces noise, saves energy, and reliably keeps the controller within its optimal temperature range.

For maximum racing performance, the XR8 Pro G3 supports the boost and turbo timing technology known from 1:10 scale racing, with timing adjustments of up to 48° . When combined with the recommended Hobbywing G3 4268/4274 motors, a performance increase of up to 50% is possible (recommended for experienced users only).

Additional protective features such as reverse polarity protection , capacitor thermal protection and the IP5X dust protection class make the XR8 Pro G3 extremely robust and reliable – even under the toughest racing conditions.
