Experience top-class R/C car racing right out of the box – simply insert batteries into the car and transmitter and you're ready to go. That's the simplicity of Kyosho Readyset packages. The small scale of the MINI-Z Racer is ideal for indoor use and for newcomers to the world of R/C cars. This MINI-Z RWD Readyset is based on a revised rear-wheel-drive chassis. Previous Readyset packages used the third-generation MR-03 chassis, while the new RWD Readyset now features the fourth-generation MR-04 chassis, first introduced in 2023. While retaining fundamental MR-03 design features, the MR-04, with its lower center of gravity and revised steering geometry, already demonstrated impressive speed and excellent handling in the top-of-the-line EVO2 model. The MR-04 chassis comes equipped with a complete R/C system and features a pre-assembled, show-quality body. This Readyset contains the same MR-04 standard chassis as the higher-end MR-04 models and comes with a user-friendly 130-size brushed motor and the proven Syncro KT-531P pistol-grip transmitter. Simply insert four AAA alkaline batteries into both the car and the transmitter, and the fun can begin. The standard setup already offers high performance, but with a wide range of MINI-Z tuning parts, the model can be optimized for racing. With its agile driving dynamics and premium look, the further developed MR-04 chassis takes the authentic R/C experience to a new level.

While retaining the best features of the MR-03, the lower center of gravity of the new MR-04 results in significant performance improvements. Its easy handling makes the MR-04 the ideal entry point into the world of RC.

New front steering knuckles with integrated kingpins reduce the scrub radius by 1.5 mm per side compared to the MR-03, resulting in more precise, linear steering. The switch to ball bearings with a 3 mm inner diameter further reduces rotational resistance.

The front suspension dynamically adjusts the camber angle to the movement of the upper wishbone to ensure optimal tire contact in corners. The revised caster angle further improves steering response.

The vehicle is powered by four AAA alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries. The batteries are positioned lower than in the MR-03, which lowers the center of gravity of the entire chassis and improves cornering stability and straight-line tracking.

The rear suspension uses a spring damper to absorb shocks from the road surface and improve driving stability. An oil-filled shock absorber can be retrofitted as an option.

The flexibility of the T-bar rear suspension, which supports the entire rear pod including the motor and rear axle, ensures excellent damping characteristics. Optional parts are also available in FRP and carbon fiber.

From 2025 onwards, all axles will be equipped with low-friction ball bearings as standard. Identical bearing sizes will be used at the front and rear, simplifying spare parts management.

When switching to a non-standard body shell, a parts kit is included to adjust the front track width to the new body. The rear track width can be varied via the wheel offset.

Includes Syncro KT-531P transmitter with a steering wheel designed like a real car and a pistol-grip throttle (speed control). Steering and throttle neutral positions can be adjusted via trims, as can the steering angle via dual-rate. A training mode with reduced vehicle speed is also available (training mode is activated by default).
