Kyosho's 1/10 scale Ultima EP buggy boasts an impressive racing history – including multiple world championship titles – and continues to offer a wide range of models from entry-level to high-end vehicles. Now, the top-of-the-line RB7 model evolves into the upgraded RB7.5, bringing numerous improvements for even greater performance.
The new model utilizes big-bore oil dampers with X-ring seals for exceptionally smooth operation and reduced leakage. The damper bridges have been upgraded to lightweight yet extremely robust carbon fiber, offering increased strength for demanding racing conditions. A new front damper bridge guard provides additional protection during rollovers. At the rear, aluminum bulkheads and wheel carriers enhance rigidity and expand setup options. The body is based on the RB7, but a rear spoiler, an improved rear wing design, and an additional front wing optimize aerodynamics.
Thanks to newly developed components and the standard inclusion of several high-performance upgrades, the RB7.5 remains true to its strengths while becoming a machine capable of competing at the highest level. Whether classic dirt track or modern high-grip carpet – this latest Ultima model is built to meet the demands of ambitious riders.
- Low-CG 1/10 EP (electric) Racing Buggy, designed for high-grip surfaces.
- New body with improved aerodynamics based on the predecessor (unpainted in the kit).
- Double wishbone suspension front/rear with newly developed aluminum oil dampers for best road tracking.
- Lightweight aluminum front shafts and universal swing-type rear shafts for high drive efficiency.
- Turnbuckle upper wishbones and steering linkage made of highly resistant chromium-molybdenum steel (crash resistant).
- The aluminum rear suspension holder allows adjustment of the track angle (toe) and track width via bushings.
- Laydown gearbox with spur gear cover; gearbox type can be changed via separately available parts.
- Ball differential for dirt track and slipper clutch for overload protection.
- Differential balls made of high-precision, durable tungsten.
- Primarily designed for dirt jumping, but can be converted for high-grip carpet with minimal adjustments.
- Compatible with existing optional parts for setup changes and upgrades.

This rear-wheel-drive off-road buggy concept utilizes a midship layout: the engine sits directly in front of the rear wheels. The highly rigid duralumin main chassis has been slightly revised, while the proven low-profile gearbox and other core components have been adopted from the Ultima RB7.

A new body based on the outstanding RB7 aerodynamics, with additional changes to the rear cabin area for even greater efficiency. The rear wing has also been redesigned for increased stability and generates strong, consistent downforce.

The front and rear shock towers have been upgraded from plastic (RB7) to 4 mm thick carbon fiber – offering significantly greater strength and stiffness. The new design provides better protection during rollovers; a resin protector is included as standard to protect carpet and artificial turf.

New aluminum oil dampers with 13 mm pistons increase stability at high speeds and on uneven surfaces, and effectively absorb landing impacts. The springs have also been revised for improved performance.

Aluminum steering levers and plates ensure smooth operation with high rigidity and improve steering precision. Additionally, the shape of the upper bulkhead has been modified to prevent collisions with the servo horn.

The completely redesigned aluminum rear wheel carriers allow for changes to the upper rod length via spacer thickness, increase bearing capacity, and offer more setup flexibility. The height of the suspension pins can be adjusted by replacing the resin bushings.

The new rear bulkhead features a separate mounting point for the upper rods. The aluminum upper rod mount increases rigidity and allows for geometry tuning by adjusting the rod mounting height.

The LCG battery mount allows for adjustment of the weight distribution forward/backward and uses a tool-free one-touch system for quick battery changes.
*Only LL wheelbase is compatible with the Rear Double Wishbone Suspension Set.

The previously optional front wing is now included as standard. It helps to influence the aircraft's attitude during jumps and serves as an effective tuning part that also alters its cornering behavior.

The increased stiffness provided by the additional center bulk support reinforcement ensures more traction when accelerating out of corners.
