The Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Club Racer is presented on the new and versatile MB-01 chassis platform. This time the MB-01 is configured for the medium wheelbase with the mid-rear engine/rear-wheel drive (MR) specification. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA was developed as a lightweight, tuned racing version of the Giulia Sprint GT two-door coupe and launched in 1965. 500 examples were produced and in the late 1960s the works car became class champion several times in the European Touring Car Championship; it was also run by other racing teams and attracted a lot of attention on the race track!

The MB-01 chassis
The MB-01 compact 2WD chassis offers a choice of three wheelbase types and front or rear wheel drive. This model features a mid-engine and rear wheel drive. Without removing the battery, motor and R/C equipment from the mid-frame, simply change the mounting direction of the end gears and steering linkage to switch between front and rear wheel drive; for rear-wheel drive vehicles, a low or high motor position can be selected. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features a symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unified sections such as the motor mount, end gear and suspension facilitate assembly and effective maintenance.
