Mugen Seiki MTC-3 1:10 Chassis Kit

Mugen Seiki is proud to announce the new MTC-3 electric touring car kit. The MTC-3 is the evolution of the successful MTC-2 and MTC-2R platforms. The prototype made its debut at the 2024 IFMAR World Championship, where both MTC-3 qualified for the A-Main final: Ronald Völker finished 4th and Jacob Cruz 10th.

The MTC-3 features a completely new design – the only parts carried over from the MTC-2R are driveshafts, spool, differential, and drive belts. Equipped with a 1.5mm aluminum chassis, the MTC-3 delivers excellent performance on both asphalt and carpet. A unique topdeck design combined with ultra-short shocks creates a refined and modern racing package.
The MTC-3 offers improved handling, tuning options, and lap times!

Chassis

• New 1.5mm aluminum chassis

• Standard screws only (no special screws required)

• Wider range of torsional stiffness adjustments for all track conditions

• Carbon chassis option no longer needed

• Lower center of gravity for improved cornering (0.5mm / 0.7mm)

• Reduced overhang for more clearance and less chassis contact with the track

Suspension

• New carbon lower arm construction

• New damper and upper arm angle adjustability without shims

• Faster and easier setup changes

Motor Mount

• Newly designed aluminum motor mount

• Adjustable layshaft height

• Allows spur gear in the lowest possible position

• Use of 90T spur gears for various classes and conditions (stock & modified)

• Improved weight distribution

Topdeck

• New carbon topdecks with optimized positioning

• Option to remove upper bulkheads completely

• Easier access to the differential by removing only the rear topdeck

• New compact bulkhead design

Shocks

• New shock towers mounted directly to bulkheads (fixed or active position)

• New short shocks for lower CG and improved geometry

• New range of ultra-short shocks

• Reduced overall shock package weight

Bodyposts

• Easier body shell mounting

• Front: two spacing options for easier body preparation

• Rear: three mounting options (horizontal, vertical, or horizontal with extra support)

• Rear includes adjustable droop stopper (included in kit)
