ZooRacing ZR-0017-05 Gorilla MAX - 1/10 190mm FWD Body - 0.5mm ULTRALIGHT

The Gorilla MAX body for 190mm touring cars is the second FWD body from ZooRacing and the evolution of the popular Gorilla!

The Gorilla MAX is the pinnacle of ZooRacing's 1:10 FWD bodies.
Developed to further push the performance limits of the ever-evolving FWD class, it represents a significant leap forward in terms of aerodynamic efficiency and handling characteristics.

Designed with great attention to detail, the Gorilla MAX has a slimmer and more aerodynamic roofline to optimize airflow to the rear wing.
This results in a higher top speed and equally improved driving stability on the racetrack.

The redesigned front section exudes modernity and elegance - while the tight-fitting wheel arches minimize turbulence at the rear, enabling smoother cornering and overall improved handling.

With the shortened tail section, the Gorilla MAX offers unprecedented agility and allows the driver to traverse tight corners precisely and confidently.
The increased wheelbase adapts seamlessly to current FWD chassis design, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.

In addition, the Gorilla MAX has smooth surfaces along the side windows. This improves aerodynamic efficiency, reduces air resistance and enables an even more dynamic driving experience.

The body is available in two variants:
LIGHTWEIGHT: 0.5mm thick - 53g weight without paint and stickers, including wings
REGULAR: 0.7mm thick - 72g weight without paint and stickers, incl. wing

The features:

• developed and shaped using CAD design
• special FWD design with balanced front/rear balance
• Flat design for high top speed, low center of gravity and high cornering speeds
• Large wheel arches allow flexibility in the mounting position, even without contact with the tires
• Special structure in the rear area as an anti-tuck feature against trapped bodies
• Wheel arches with integrated possible offset to the front or rear
• Anti-tuck stiffener also integrated in the side panels

The body is delivered unpainted and not cut out.
Rear wing, a small decal sheet and window stickers are included.
Not a complete car, no wheels - these only serve to better illustrate the intended use.

Important NOTE:
The thinner the car bodies become, the more sensitive they are. This applies to production, storage, transport and, of course, use.

The bodies may have minor creases (particularly in the rear area).
Unfortunately, small creases and folds cannot always be prevented and we cannot really see them through the bag.
At this point: Form follows function - you won't win any beauty prizes with super thin bodies. But you're quick :-)

This particularly applies to the ULTRALIGHT version, which is only 0.5mm thick. There are always kinks here that are due to the sensitive material. The use of 0.5mm FWD bodies is therefore only an option for drivers who can live with these properties, for whom low durability is not a problem and who want to achieve maximum performance.
